What are your views on a rate increase for a sustainable environment?
Reviving our river, creeks and bushland; assisting landholders with environmental weed control and protecting significant habitat; an LGA-wide Flora and Fauna Study; and helping the community to make sustainable choices in their homes and businesses whilst addressing climate change - these are some of the projects that extra funding for the environmental section would support.
To what extent do you feel projects such as these deserve additional funding? Why? Are you prepared to pay additional rates to achieve better environmental outcomes?
